** Spring 2012 Classes begin February 7! **
The English Teacher

My name is Jennifer Wright and I love all things English! Let me share some information about myself.

I graduated with a B.A. in English from Nyack College, a Christian liberal arts college in New York. After graduation, I worked for an equine publication (yes, it was a horse newspaper!) called The Horsemen's Corral, and then later I was employed by a larger, more mainstream city newspaper called The News-Herald in Willoughby, Ohio. After working there several years, I got married to a fantastic guy (aka Big Steve!) and decided to quit my job to stay home with my family. Fast forward to the present!

Currently I home school my three children while teaching English and staying actively involved in my church (Riverwood Community Church in Sterling Heights). I love teenagers and I love English, so I thought I would meld the two and teach some high school English classes! I feel that God has given me this opportunity at this time in my life, and I embrace it enthusiastically.

Please feel free to read through the current class information, and if you're interested, you can fill out a registration form online or send me an email and I'll send you a registration packet.
